GILLIAN JOHNSON is the prize-winning author and illustrator of over thirty children's books, published worldwide and translated into ten languages. She is also the illustrator of We're Going on a Bar Hunt, a parody of the children's classic, that is currently in its fourth printing. Gillian lives with her husband, the writer Nicholas Shakespeare, and her two sons, Max and Ben, in Oxford, UK.
