About the Author

Phil Race is the author of our text "How to Win as a Final Year Student", (2000) and has published widely in the ares of teaching, learning and assessment. He is very highly regarded as a independent Higher Education consultant, and runs workshops and events at universities throughout the UK for both students and educators. He has taught at a variety of Higher Education institutions including the universities of Glamorgan, Northumbria and Durham.
