Barrons didn't do a good job proofreading this book. There were about mistakes in every single chapter and the unnecessary information made this a boring hard to read book. The texts were poorly stated and confusing. If you're looking for a clear/coherent book, this one is not it.

i bought this book a month ago. and i like it. sometimes, i do think it goes too much into topics that won't be on the SAT II necessarily. but i still like it. however, the only thing that i HATE about this book is that it has mistakes in it. they aren't everywhere, but they're still there. however, i would still recommend this book. thanks for reading! =) ps wish me luck on my SAT II. i take it in october..almost 2 months away! :/

this book was okay. it summarized a lot of main concepts. but it gave a lot of extra information that wouldn't be on the test. it also had a lot of mistakes.
