She is experienced teaching adult students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and loves traveling with her family.With a vivacious personality, fourth grader Morgan Getting enjoys volleyball, popular music and some creative arts. Always quick with wit and humor, she doesn't take herself too seriously and loves going to the beach with her family and friends.

The book speaks about the good, the bad, and the interesting from the points of view of the author’s family and many other families. The author does a good job in sharing the low points and highlights as readers learn the triumphs, the challenges, and the sadness each family member experiences as they handle little ones from kindergarten through grade 5. So instead of feeling guilty if things do not go right, just breathe, relax, and repeat! The book is helpful to all those parents who have kids in elementary school as it will guide them in how to handle those first formative years of their child’s life smoothly. The tips, the advice, the suggestions, and the stories in the book are all good when it comes to handling the elementary school period. The author has discussed the topic extensively, making it easy for parents to know what to expect when their children start school, and to deal accordingly when challenges arise. It is a must-have for all those parents who have kids in elementary school and also for those on the verge of sending their children to school as it helps them understand their children and their problems better. I like the format of the book and the sketches are adorable and charming.
