Overview

Are you considering writing as a career?

This book is meant as a guide and reference for the new writer, but the experienced writer will find it useful as well. The information within the pages will help you turn your love of writing into a career, whether it be a copywriter, freelancer or novelist. The choice is yours.

You will learn about the types of writing and be given a list of platforms that you can submit it to; whether it be articles on RS sites or a novel that you decide to self-publish. Once you learn the basics, the possibilities are endless.

The third section is a list of service providers for writers. This is everything from App Creators to publishing companies, editors, illustrators and so much more. A writer should not have to go it alone, so feel free to ask questions.

About the Author

Diane has been writing online since January 2010. She has published articles on sites such as HubPages, eZine Articles and Triond. She is also the author of a growing number of books; both fiction and nonfiction. Her titles include (but are not limited to) The Hidden Estate, The Uncovered Dream (second in the Hidden Estate Series), Writeful Advice, How to Turn Words Into Cash and The Homemaker Helper Series: Crafts.

All of her work has been self-published and can be found on platforms such as Amazon, and Kobo, as well as on her website. After searching for a platform which she could sell her eBooks and reports, she found Sellfy. She realized it is a platform not widely known, so wrote a book to inform others about it.

Her focus on nonfiction and the self-publishing industry has led to the development of a course in which she can share her knowledge and first-hand experience with others. By breaking the process into step-by-step format, students can complete the exercises included. This will help them gain a better understanding of not only the writing/publishing process, but of the direction they wish to take in their own publishing career.

Diane lives with her spouse on an acreage and can be found writing, crafting or tending to their small herd of alpacas. Her career as a mother has not come to an end, but with her children being young adults, she has more time to dedicate to her own passions. Her list of "to write" books keeps growing, with the main focus being on nonfiction.
