What does it mean to enter the presence of Jesus? Can people today do this or only biblical characters? In this classic book, Joseph Carroll shows us what it means to truly come into Jesus' presence.
There is so much more to truly worshiping Jesus than church services and personal devotions. True worship requires complete commitment of emotions, intellect, and will-and our reward is great. Carroll directs us into the presence of Christ by drawing on Scripture, especially the book of Revelation, and by giving practical steps of personal worship. The experiences of some of history's greatest saints also serve as relatable examples of true worship.
This deeply practical and personal book will help us know Jesus more intimately on a daily basis. It will draw us close to Christ-to experience His presence-and to worship Him in ways far better than what most of us imagine to be possible.

If you want to know how, when, where or why to Worship Jesus Christ this book is an excellent resource. You will never look at worship the same again. Praise God!
I was given this book in Seminary in NC 10 years ago and I was awestruck that I was supposidly so gifted and yet I realized I had fallen short of My True Love... I left Seminary and began my true journey with our Lord after reading this book. I have since then given copies of this book to many people, encouraging them to draw close to Our Savior. If you allow the stories and thoughts in this book to be taken to your heart and not to your mind, you might find yourself in Love with Him again ...Pray that God may touch you through His Spirit before reading one page of this book and you will see why this book was written.
Joseph Carroll has written a classic on the subject of worship. His writing gives evidence that he has a regular, deep and abiding personal worship. In the book he uses much scripture to instruct the believer desirous of learning the definition as well as the 'nuts and bolts' of worship. There is a wonderful chapter that tells the reader how worship worked in and impacted the lives of some of the great preachers and missionaries in the past century. If worship usually means a mood or style of music to you then you need to read this book and examine your thinking in light of the teachings of the Scripture.
