This guide was way more in-depth than I expected it to be. I learned the difference between Technical writing and other types of articles. This information helps the writer learn to identify the subject or topic; where to find and gather information. The importance of fact checking and verifying info and how to write drafts choosing the right words. I learned a lot about research and and outlining; how to break my subject down into interesting sub topics and how to bring the article to a satisfying conclusion. This and more is covered in this how-to guide, and there are also more writing resources given at the end of the book. I recommend this to anyone interested in becoming a better technical writer. A great reference to keep at hand!

This is not a book for those who want to be deep in the weeds with technical writing. It provides the basics and very helpful suggestions or techniques.
