It is a short book. Life is complicated and this book provides brief poems that remind us about everyday life situations that anyone can relate to if they were to read it. The poems relate to the past, present, and future. I loved "Daughter, What Did You Do?" The poem had humor but yet I understood the serious side of it. The poem provides awareness that reminds us that it is more than one side to a story. All the poems had a certain relevance to life. A must read.

How Wisdom Spoke to Me - takes the reader through a poetic setting into the author's experiences seeking quiet time to describe family life. She does it very well in covering the many events that transpire in the family unit. I'm sure that the reader(s) of this inspirational book can identify family life through the author's vision utilizing her love of poetry.

This is a very inspiring book of poetry. I think it is a good synopsis of life experiences. For example, "She Love Flowers" was very motivational for me. Some people do not realize that we should be thankful for our loved ones while they are here because when they are gone, there's no way of us expressing our feelings to them. Therefore, give people their flowers while they are living. Tell them you love them, that you are thankful for them and you thank GOD for them daily because tomorrow is never promised.

The title of this book is perfect for this selection of poems. Ms. Atkinson wrote the words of her heart down on paper and is willing to share it with others in hopes of changing someone's life. The book cover is just mind soothing. It is a picture of trees, cobblestone, and water flowing. There is a lot of creativity and originality in this book. The way these poems are written and the word choice is the work of an experienced writer. Ms. Atkinson is very talented and put her all in writing this book. As you know, great work takes a lot of time and dedication. Ms. Atkinson, has shed some wisdom on me through the words of each poem. One of my favorite poems in this book is "I'm yours, take care of me". This poem talks about how a parent has a responsibility to take care of their child and show them the way. Reading these poems make you think about the many situations people are in and the lifesytles that they live. I recommend everyone to read this book. It teaches you lessons in life.
