About the Author

After having spent 12 years exploring the New York Hudson Valley, disappointed by the availability of GPS hiking guides at the local Barnes and Noble Store, Louis T. Rivas, is sharing all the compiled data and info from his adventures.

From Pleasantville, New York, his interest in the wilderness began at an early age, along with his passion for photography. The breathtaking images in this book are taken by Louis from his adventures. What words can not begin to describe photo images displayed will tell of the hidden, forgotten man made marvels from the long lost past right off the beaten path.

Adventures included range from the beloved New York State to bonus trips to the tip of Maine and the Mountains of New Hampshire. Whether you are new to hiking or a thrill seeker looking for your next adventure, this book provides for all. Special thanks to Jordi Ramont, from Wikiloc, who provided the GPS waypoint site to download your favorite tracks when choosing your own adventure.
