ALERT: Before you purchase, check with your instructor or review your course syllabus to ensure that you select the correct ISBN. Several versions of Pearson's MyLab & Mastering products exist for each title, including customized versions for individual schools, and registrations are not transferable. In addition, you may need a CourseID, provided by your instructor, to register for and use Pearson's MyLab & Mastering products.
Access codes for Pearson's MyLab & Mastering products may not be included when purchasing or renting from companies other than Pearson; check with the seller before completing your purchase.
Used or rental books
If you rent or purchase a used book with an access code, the access code may have been redeemed previously and you may have to purchase a new access code.
Access codes that are purchased from sellers other than Pearson carry a higher risk of being either the wrong ISBN or a previously redeemed code. Check with the seller prior to purchase.
With the Ninth Edition of the best-selling Human Anatomy & Physiology , trusted authors Elaine N. Marieb and Katja Hoehn have produced the most accessible, comprehensive, up-to-date and visually stunning anatomy & physiology textbook on the market. Marieb draws on her career as an A&P professor and her experience completing her nursing education; Hoehn relies on her medical education and award-winning classroom instruction—together, they explain anatomy & physiology concepts and processes in a meaningful and memorable way.
In the most student-centric revision to date—the Ninth Edition presents information in smaller and more digestible bites, making it easier to read and navigate. Clinical coverage has been increased throughout the text, as well.
Note: Students should be able to register into MasteringA&P w/o an instructor's CourseID. However, if they want to join an instructor's course, they will need a Course ID, and the instructions clearly explain that.

So I rented this textbook for school considering I only needed this class for one semester and thought I could save a few bucks along the way. Well I specifically rented the version with masteringa&p assuming an access code comes with it as anywhere else it does only to find out this is not the case. When I opened my package my books came (used mind you but I did not really care considering it is a rental) and no code to be found. There is a version of the book which is just the book itself but I needed more then that. So I called Barnes and Nobles help service only to find out that if you rent a book getting the access code is 50/50. They claim it is in the agreement terms but in all honesty who reads that? This is false advertisement and now I have to pay an additional $60 for the access code. At this point you are better off buying the book flat out as most people who do use it for two semesters and then can trade it in for a decent amount. Barnes and Nobles should fix this issue immediately.
DO NOT RENT. USE AMAZON INSTEAD. WHEN YOU RENT YOU WILL NOT GET THE MASTERING ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY ACCESS CODE. DO NOT USE BARNES AND NOBLE.
This a great place to shop online...
This book, and the manual lab are very useful for my class.
