Mattie and Mark Miller are once again learning new lessons in life as they run and play on their Amish farm.   This is another delightful book written for children about ten-year-old twins.   Readers will get a view of the Amish lifestyle, farm life, and learn a lesson as they read.  Even though this book is written for children, it makes for a quick and fun read for adults as well.  I know that I certainly had quite a few chuckles as I read.   5 Star Children's literature!   I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.

Somehow just telling our children to do or not to do something, to act or not act a certain way, seems to only have a 50/50 chance of sticking in there minds. But stories they remember and stories engage their heart. I came upon this book recently and the title instantly caught my attention because I've been trying to teach my daughter about being humble. She is only four and has a fairly good attention for long books so we started this together. It didn't quite keep her yet but I think in a year or two it will be great. It's a cute, clean, good read that when the time comes I would trust my daughter to read by herself without worrying about lessons she could pick up that I wouldn't want. And I think sometimes that can be hard to find these days. I would definitely recommend it and I think we'll be picking up the whole series.
