Honorable Mention for the Foreword INDIES Award for Best Autobiography and Memoir
Dark, deviant, and deliriously funny, Jude Angelini writes in the colloquial vein of Charles Bukowski, using his unique, natural voice to tell stories from his life. He writes about his sexual encountersboth strange and intimatealongside stories from his childhood and his tell-all experiences with “science drugs.” Throughout it all, Jude is critical of himself and his actions, proving himself to be vulnerable, lonely, and extremely relatable. A stellar follow-up to Hyena.

Praise for Hyena
“Angelini’s book is like a mix of Charles Bukowski and Hunter S. Thompson, chronicling a whirlwind of belligerent wild tribulations all his own…You won’t be able to put it down, and you will come out understanding and understood.”
"An explicit collection of stories from the host of The All Out Show on Sirius."
"The book is funny, vile, sad and shocking. Angelini's style punches you in the face, but makes you see the man underneath the monster, the humanity inside the beast."

Another GREAT book! I swear that Rude Jude doesn't disappoint. After reading Hyena he quickly became my favorite author, so I knew that when Hummingbird was announced, it wouldn't disappoint. There's so much in this book that I can relate too even though I've never taken a drug in my life. The stories in Hummingbird made me feel. It brought out so many emotions in me and I loved every second of it. Highly Recommend!
A great quick read with lots of grit and insight. If you like Bukowski, Fante, etc you'll dig it.
Hummingbird is a great follow-up to Hyena! Got through the entire book in a matter of hours. Just couldn’t pull away. Praises to Jude for just speaking his truth! With all the negatives he’s encountered throughout his life, this book is definitely something to be proud of!
