It tells you to START by adding in all the good stuff and you will start craving it less and eventually not at all. IT DOES tell you what you should neverveat and why and what you should eat and why. Makes a lot of sense.

I don't know what people mean when they say this book is "extreme". Seriously? Only if you consider avoiding fast food and corn syrup "extreme". The book isn't telling you to be vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, juice fasting, or any of the other "extreme" diet/lifestyle choices out there. It's telling you to eat more fruit ls amd vegetables and to stop eating crap. It helpfully tells you what some of the crap is and gives you solid reasons why its bad. It's not excessively scientifically detailed - but that only serves to make it easier to understand and apply to your average day. It's inspiration not a diet bible.

I love this book! We should all get down to basics, and we'll be a much healthier country. And with so many recipes, there are no excuses!!

Amazing. Its true. Our world is so full processed foods. If we just get back to basics we will have no longer have high medical bills, no longer need to spend money on beauty products and weight loss products, and over all just feel amazing.

I feel like this book had the right idea, but the authors didn't take the time to really flesh their ideas out. I read it hoping to add on to what I already learned from The Hungry Chick Dieting Solution, which I am actually using and what actually works. This book didn't even come close to that. I'd recommend The Hungry Chick Dieting Solution to anyone. This book, not so much.

Really disappointed in this book. The book says instead of giving up foods, add in the good stuff. After that it lost me. It had reasons not to eat all kinds of things. The recipes had ingredients I never heard of. Too extreme for me.
