Hunted by Megg Jensen

The fog that trapped the people of Hutton's Bridge for eighty years has disappeared, but now so have the villagers.

Fearing the worst, Tressa and Bastian must navigate a new and dangerous world in search of their people. Among their allies are a healer, a warrior, and even a dragon--but their enemies are far greater.

Hutton's Bridge has long protected a powerful secret, one the dragonlords will kill to control. As the realms rise, Tressa and Bastian risk everything to save their people, until one must make the ultimate sacrifice.

Hunted starts right around where Hidden left off. Bastian and Tressa are still separated but they're both working to the advantage of those of Hutton's Bridge. The story has many plot twist, and sometimes for me they felt just back to back and it made me have to pause for a while just process what I had been reading. The world building in this one was much better than the first, something to go along with the writing. I loved that dragons had so much more of a presence in this one, I love dragons of all kinda. Megg Jensen does a wonderful job of trying to make her dragons different, and in most instances she won. I love watching characters grow, it one of my favorite parts and watching Tressa and Bastion grow during the story was something I loved experiencing. They feel less cardboard cutout compared to how I felt the first book was sometimes. Overall, the characters seemed so much better in this book than in the first. Hunted was a fantastic sequel to Hidden, and I'm so very excited to read Retribution! -Bri (Books and Ashes)

I received this eARC in exchange for a fair & honest review. I truly love this series. Everytime I think I have things figured out, more twists occur and it leaves me amazed. I really like the growth in all the characters - I am still trying to figure out ehich is actually my fave. I cannot wait to see book #3 as I am sure there will be many new developments I can't even imagine.

I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. WOW! The first book in this series, Hidden, is really good but this book blows that one out of the water. It is an excellent follow up although I warn you that it has a killer cliff-hanger ending. This story does follow on from Hidden so I definitely recommend you read that first or you simply won't have a clue what is happening in here. For those that have read it, I can say that the story continues to move forward in such a way that will amaze and astound. The characters are growing and changing whilst the plot thickens. I especially loved the character development of Tressa and Bastian. This felt completely natural considering that they are meeting new people for the first time in their lives. So many twists and turns in this story and I won't even try to explain any of them. Suffice it to say that I now have lots of questions that were answered from book 1 but I now have more from book 2 that are still unanswered. I'm waiting for book 3 very impatiently! (ps - as an aside, I just wanted to say that I LOVE the book cover!) Recommended for all Fantasy lovers out there.

This story continues as the fog surrounding the village is finally lifted. Some questions are answered but new questions arise. Secrets are revealed as you are drawn into this epic adventure. You are given an in depth view of each character for better understanding of their role. There are also many twists and turns as some things are settled while others are still uncertain. Very interesting book! Received copy for review.

This novel picks up right where we were left off with Hidden. I love getting different viewpoints with Tressa, Bastian and Conner. There was so much mystery and adventure thrown into this story that it completely sucked me in. If you like Game of Thrones, this is definitely a book worth checking out. All the different dragon realms were fascinating! I don't want to give too much of the plot away, but I'm anxious to read the next book of the series since the ending left me hanging there. I would highly recommend to those that enjoy adult fantasy/dragon novels! *I received an eARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review.*

I've read both books of this series, and I'm rather impressed.  I read an advanced version of this. Still I loved it! Defiantly worth a read in my opinion.
