Animals have instinctive drives To survive, To eat, and To reproduce. Humans' main personal and social decisions are: To Live ON, How? To Live WITH, Whom? To Live FOR, What? We are the 'baby boomers'...some of us are from meager circumstances, some of us have 'old' money, and some of us become 'nouveau riche'. Every reader will find the character that they most relate with and feel the pain, exuberance, tears, frustration, nonchalance, and instintive animal drives of Meg, Becky, Alex, and the other 'players'. These are real people in real circumstances trying to make sense of their lives. When I finished reading, my mind kept reflecting on what I just read. I tried to figure it out. It kept haunting me in my thoughts. What does it all mean? This is a book you will keep going back and re-reading a previous chapter to make sense of 'new information' At the end of the last page of the book, I wanted to re-read the entire book again.....knowing what I know now. You will too.....
