About the Author

New York Times, USA Today, and International bestselling author, E.K. Blair, takes her readers on an emotional roller coaster with her books. A former first grade teacher with an imagination that runs wild. Daydreaming and zoning out is how she was often found in high school. Blair tends to drift towards everything dark and moody and has been noted as 'The Queen of Dark and Twisted'. Give her a character and she will take pleasure in breaking them down, digging into their core to find what lies underneath.

Aside from writing, E.K. Blair finds pleasure in music, drinking her Starbucks in peace, and spending time with her friends. She's a thinker, an artist, a wife, a mom, and everything in between.

The book is disturbing at many levels, from the first chapter to the last. I really did not enjoy the read. Then the epilogue is dumb. It is such a contrast. If you read the other two books, you will probably want to read this one, if only to know what happens to Declan and Elizabeth. But prepare yourself, it is a dark and unfulfilling reading experience.

One of the better series, that said, we deserved better !!! Alot of time & money was put into this series !!! I will not invest another dime or minute to this author!!!!! The ending SUCKS ,big time !!!! Shame on you !!!!!!

After 2 very good books. This one was a disappointment . The ending completely ruined the book. Ruined the series. For everyone to die is one thing . But they turned into caterpillars? Yes. It was awful.

There's not too much I can say without giving away the plot but I do want to say that I couldn't see any other way for this story to end. While it may not be MY ideal, it was EK's and it fit the trilogy perfectly. This was definitely one hell of a ride and I am very sad to have to say goodbye to Declan and Elizabeth.

I am so sick of books or series where disgusting, vile, women get great protective men. The message of horrible people deserve goodness is ridiculous.

This series just gutted a good way. Elizabeth is awesome! Declan is beautifullu tragic. Pike is everybody's favorite brother and confidant.

I loved the first two books, and I liked the 3rd pretty good, right up until a very surprising ending that I just didn't like. That is a personal opinion based on my personal preference.

This is the darkest book I have ever read. It has so many twists and turns that I just had to keep reading. The ending is extremely weird but fits the story.

After all they go through the ending is, one could say, righteous for the kind of lives they've led. More so, Elizabeth. Still, I must admit, I was hoping for the HEA. E. K. Blairs other books were much better. 230 pgs.

I loved this series. I wanted MORE for the main characters. I wanted the dream for them in this world! Oh the twists and turns and tears!
