A Roman warrior from the past. A writer from the future. Their common bond is that they're the only humans trapped in a time and in a land where the monsters are bigger, stronger and faster. Will their fight for survival draw them together? Or will the distraction of a beautiful woman weaken this warrior's fight?

I walked through the thick plants hacking with my machete. I wiped my dirty blonde hair out of my face asking our guide. "How longer until we're at the camp?" She looked back at me with her coco colored skin and dark brown eyes "we'll be there when we cross the next river,Hagen." I nodded and continued walking "I bet there are piranhas in the river."said my bratty 14 year old sister. She's constintlly trying to scare me. I guess it's because im her younger brother. We're not that many years apart though,i'm 12 so i dont see why she tries to scare me. "Hahaha!" I laugh sarcasticlly and punch her hard on the shoulder. She just laughs and that makes me even more furious. The tour guide interrupts our little fued and saise "we're at the river!" I forget all the anger i felt a moment before and jump into the back of the canoe. My sister,Jacey looks at me and snorts "first is the worst second is the best!" I just frown but not because of her stupid comment. I just saw a huge dark shape go under our canoe. "Did you see that!?" I ask Jacey. She just laughs and saise "wow, your already seeing things , and we're only an hour into our visit!" She saise matter of factly. I turned to our guide and said "There was something huge under our canoe!" She just laughs and saise "it was probally a alligator...we have tons out here." I knew what I saw was WAY too big for a alligator. But I just went with it saving myself any more embarrasment.

Thanks for reading,I need 3 positive reviews to continue
