I love this book. It could be read by everyone, however, anyone who has or thinks they might be hypoglycemic and/or over weight should definitely read it. The story of Gael is very sad, especially since her death could have been avoided. Having suffered from this condition most of my life and also being over weight I needed to find help that I wasn't getting from a doctor. This book answered a lot of questions that I have been wondering about for some time. This is not technical talk. It is an easy read. I am trying the Vim and Vigor diet that is mentioned in the book and (this is the truth!) I already feel different after ridding myself of the foods with hidden sugar or triggers. I feel more alert and less sluggish.

Excellent guide on how to eat well to control blood sugar whether you are Hypoglycemic or Diabetic or Metabolic or just healthy wanting to stay that way. I find it very very helpful.

I believe I have suffered from hypoglycemia since a young girl; finally a diagnosis and a book that is written for most people to understand and to deal with the condition. I'd like to see a 2003-2004 edition come out and a cookbook that goes along with it. Most doctors should read it and re-read it.
