Hypothyroidism, Health & Happiness: The Riddle of Illness Revealed by Steven F Hotze

Have you ever thought to yourself, “I think I might have a thyroid problem.  I’m tired all the time, no matter how much I exercise, I can’t seem to lose weight, my hair’s falling out, and overall I just feel blah.”  If so, it is essential that you explore the very real possibility that indeed, you do have hypothyroidism.  In Hypothyroidism, Health & Happiness, Dr. Steven Hotze reveals how commonly hypothyroidism is overlooked, misdiagnosed, and mistreated in women and men, and gives you just the information you need to prepare yourself to obtain help.

Too often, individuals with all the signs of low thyroid are prevented from accessing the simple, inexpensive and effective treatment for hypothyroidism.  Instead, they are told their blood work is “normal.”  Find out why they owe it to themselves to believe what their bodies are telling them, rather than the results of their blood tests.

Dr. Hotze has been on a mission to get this message into the hands of women and men, particularly those in midlife, for more than 20 years.  The answers you will find in this book about the signs, symptoms and treatment of low thyroid conditions are no longer a part of the conventional medical approach to hypothyroidism.
Inside, you will learn:

  • The historical basis for identifying and treating hypothyroidism
  • Underlying causes of hypothyroidism
  • Clinical signs and symptoms that may mean you have hypothyroidism
  • The little-used thyroid blood test that identifies thyroid disorders in spite of a “normal” TSH
  • Other individuals just like you who are now healthy, well, and thriving
  • Simple at-home test you can do as a starting point towards discovering if you have low thyroid
  • And more
Dr. Hotze has a saying, “If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, then you owe it to yourself to take charge of your health and get your life back.” By arming yourself with the information in this book you can take the first step towards restoring your health, transforming your life and improving your world.

this book is a tangible approach to explaining your health and symptoms. often these symptoms when taken to your PCP, get brushed off with less attention and validation than they truly deserve. this book acknowledges that they are real, that there is a root cause, and there is a natural and effective treatment to getting YOU back to the health you know you should have. I loved the way the symptoms were laid out so clearly...it was easy to identify with and realize I am not the only one struggling with it. I loved how the facts made sense and weren't communicated in a way that felt over my head, and I loved the summaries at the end of each chapter almost giving me practical application to start taking different steps to gain control of my health. I highly recommend this book! so refreshing and hopeful!

As someone who has experienced being “sick and tired of being sick and tired” for years due to the failures of traditional medicine and the lies of Big Pharma, I can honestly say that Dr. Hotze’s book feels like an exclamation mark on my own tale of living with hypothyroidism. Truth be told, I think the little warning label that states “Your Doctor Doesn’t Want You To Read This Book” should have been included in the title. It is astonishing to me that the medical community continually fails thousands upon thousands of people just because their labs look “normal”. Thanks to Dr. Hotze’s no-nonsense book, people all over the world can finally arm themselves with the information they need to take control of their health and get their lives back!

This book is a blessing of information for all people who are looking for understanding how they feel and are looking to relate to other people. Most people do not want to know that they are alone in these changes during midlife. It can be a scary time when you wake up and do not know why you are so cranky, so tired, and feeling like you hate the world. Dr. Hotze has changed several lives including my own. It was really easy to relate to the people in this book and change my future.

This book is very informative on issues that plague many people today. With traditional doctors not looking outside the box people are not getting the right health care available. This book relates to people that have tried for years and with many many doctors to find out what is wrong with them but get no help. This book sheds hope on many unanswered questions and tells the truth about our healthcare system.

Hypothyroidism, Health, and Happiness by Dr. Steven F Hotze is not just a book. It’s a beacon of hope to a sick and tired America, and the mislead conventional doctors who practice here. For those patients who are sick and tired of being sick and tired, it’s a ticket past fatigue, weight gain, headaches, polypharmacy, and blank stares and assumptions made by conventional doctors. Dr. Hotze presents undeniable truths about the declining health of America, as well as shocking insight into the current conventional healthcare systems, and the cycle that prevents patients from finding the relief they need.

This book tells it straight.  Thank you Dr. Hotze for writing this book.   As someone who suffered through many classic hypothyroid symptoms over the years without any other doctor even daring to connect them to one single problem. This book explains how and why the thyroid is so important in overall health.  It wasn't until I read Dr. Hotze's book that realized how all of my symptoms were related.  Why suffer or settle?  Grab this book and read it.

This was a very informative and well-written book. It is encouraging to that there still are doctors out there that believe in getting to the root of the problem and not just prescribing unneeded medication to patients who don't need them.

Dear Dr. Hotze, thank you for writing this book. You have opened my eyes to the world of thyroid function, and it has become crystal clear why I have been suffering for so many years. It is my hope that more women and men take charge of their health!

People need to read this! This answers the question of why I don't "feel" normal when my lab test shows that I am normal. "Just because your thyroid blood value falls within the so-called normal range, that does not mean that our thyroid hormones are at an optimal level for you or that they are being adequately used by your cells."
