My son, KaVan, has been having a difficult time understanding why he lives in 2 different households while all of friends live with both of their parents. I got him this book to help him better understand. The authors of this book did such an awesome job at incorporating both households, parents as individuals, conversations being had with the children at school, & how the parents are still learning to be single parents. Kavan's favorite part of the book is when the kids were eating popcorn. (That's his favorite snack). Lol He gets sad when I read about the conversation being had between the kids at school, but it was such an awesome way for me to get him to express his feelings which is hard for him to do. Also, my son sees a "play therapist". After I had her read this book she told me she was getting it for her office, for the other kids who are going through the same things. I recommend this book to all of those out there raising children in 2 different homes. We give it 2 thumbs up.

Beautiful illustrations, wording and a wonderful message on a sensitive subject.  My daughter and I read the book several times and had a heartfelt conversation about our family set up, following the section of questions at the back. We love this series of books.
