About the Author
Born in the Republic of Georgia, Lado V. Goudjabidze graduated from the College of Visual Arts in Tbilisi, Georgia. He hosted the USSR's Georgian Contemporary Art television show before he and his family immigrated to the United States. An art director and production manager in New York, he represented the New York Times Restoration Group to the Hermitage in the USSR and later opened a sculpture reproduction company. Since then, his company had reproduced over a million quality sculptures. Lado belongs to many organizations, including the National Sculpture Society and the Academy of Science and Business of Georgia, and he has won many awards including, the Ueno Royal Museum Award from Japan. He and his wife have two daughters and live in Southern California.
