About the Author

Kaitlyn Pfeiffer is a ten-year-old girl, in seventh grade, who has always loved to read. She has always been academically ahead of her peers and she skipped two academic grades, second and sixth, in school.
Kaitlyn began reading at the age of two and could read chapter books by the time she attended Kindergarten. She had a remarkable vocabulary and a photographic memory at a young age. Kaitlyn's love of reading has only flourished over the years!
Kaitlyn has several medical conditions that require frequent trips to the doctor's office. She was inspired to write a book after she was granted a Make-A-Wish in January of 2017. Her wish trip gave her the confidence that she could do anything!
Kaitlyn wrote this book over the summer of 2017, between her fifth and seventh grade years. Kaitlyn chose to write this story based on some of her own experiences and how those experiences have shaped her and helped her grow as a person.
Kaitlyn currently resides in New York State with her parents.
