"Doing what all the kids did, Raittia was always in trouble. Thinking this was okay, she spiraled out of control and was lock-up. While in prison, Raittia gave her life to the Lord. Changed from within by His healing power, she still needed to serve her sentence. Aware that God was teaching her important things, she focused on prayer, fasting and telling other's about Jesus. Several times the blessings she was expecting, like gaining parole, was denied. But this once difficult teen understood, because through reading God's Word, prayer, fasting, radio and TV evangelism and all God taught she saw this as an opportunity to minister to others in every way and whenever possible. Now a woman, she's been invited to return to the prisons she lived in. Raittia walks in the light of God and serves Him. Her joy at being loved by a Godly man, having her family around her and being asked to speak, teach, and raise other's awareness that "...with God all things are possible"- Paula Rose Michelson
Man! When I first met Tia on Zoom from an interview by Martinque, she was sharing her story and her book "I Broke out of Prison" I thought to myself, this book sounds amazing! Sure enough I finally purchased the kindle edition to the book and started reading it. I thought to myself, "This girl had a crazy and rough life" But the fact that she turned her life around tremendously gives a lot of people hope to give their whole body, mind and soul to God because he will never leave or forsake you. Tia's testimony and story is very powerful and I definitely enjoyed this book! Keep shining in God's eye! - That Riverz Gurl
I Broke Out of Prison, a memoir by Raittia Rogers, chronicles her journey of being locked up in prison, and in a destructive mindset, until one day she went to church. Raittia grew up hard, living the life of a juvenile delinquent in and around Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her bad choices lead to being expelled from high school, kicked out of half-way homes, and resulted in her doing time in prison. When a church group came to the prison, Raittia partook in their ministry and was forever changed. Upon accepting Jesus Christ as her personal saviour, Raittia was blessed with the anointing of Christ and became a spiritual leader while in prison. As she fervently sought the Lord, she was filled with spiritual gifts, and healings and miracles became a part of her daily life. Raittia's raw and passionate story is a must read for anybody struggling to find hope and peace when the odds are stacked against you. She clearly points to Jesus Christ as the way to true healing and fulfillment. - Lori Yerxa
Raittia helped me see a world I've never known and tells her story in such a way that you feel you are walking with her through her journey. What a privilege to be able to see through her experiences how God never let go of her. And now she is walking in glorious light every day! Very inspiring!
