Bruno gobbled up Mom's macaroni. It tasted so good! Then he saw something in the bottom of the bowl. Something was hidden in the cheese. "Ah!" he screamed. "There's green in my macaroni!"
"It's just zucchini," Mom said. "Just a tiny little bit."
"It's green!" Bruno put down his spoon. He wasn't hungry anymore.

Hilarious and very authentic stories about five-year old Bruno. The book contains five short stories including Bruno tackles the evil dragons on his street (courtesy of various fire hydrants); decides to eat one colour of the rainbow each day; and learns to talk 'car'. Adderson vividly brings out Bruno's tremendously adept and creative imagination--typical of many young lads his age. Bruno's 'insights' are sure to bring smiles to every read-aloud session with the kids!
