About the Author
Mike's career highlights are few but in the mid-1990s he was fortunate to be working as PR manager for the American computer company that gave life to the World Wide Web. Before that, he was in charge of PR for Sam Wanamaker's Shakespeare Globe on Bankside, joining when the project was a £6m hole in the ground. By the time Mike left, his global editorial successes had created an income tsunami, accelerating completion of the timber-framed theatre.
Today, Mike is a grandfather, indulging his love of writing while listening to his collection of 1960s rock and roll, regretfully unable to summon the sex and the drugs.
