I've read all three novels in the Sloane Monroe series, and each one keeps getting better! With this one, the main sleuth, Sloane Monroe, finds herself in California which is a refreshing change of scenery. I liked the twist on the story which made it feel like there was a story within the main story, it led to a lot of unforseen twists and turns. This aspect is part of what held my interest, and I always love a book where I can't figure out the "whodunnit" part until I get to the end. It's both serious and entertaining at the same time. The characters are interesting and layered. Great read.

This book was interesting with several plot turns that kept you guessing. Thank you to the author for not including graphic sex - it is prevalent in most books and just cheapens the story. I will definitely read more fron this author.

This is the second book I've read in this series. Although not an absolute fave that I want to keep following, the books so far have been interesting and a pleasant read.

Seriously, you need to get over yourself. Referring to grammatical errors as "egregious" sounds pretentious and ridiculous. Egregious is a word reserved for those individuals who commit truly heinous acts, not someone who wrote a story for you to enjoy.
