I Kissed a Dog and I Liked It by Lori J. Collins

Need a little love in your life? Get a dog.

Need a better perspective of God in your life? Kiss a dog.

What is it about a dog that causes our heartstrings to tug and evokes thoughts of companionship, camaraderie, and loyalty? At the same time, it reaches into our emotions and pulls out a heap of the warm-fuzzies? Our furry, four-legged friends are our confidantes and best-buddies, our play-pals, our cohorts, and yes, they can even be our soul mates. A dog is the epitome of devotion, loyalty and love. Human and dog can be bonded together with a love that surpasses most human-to-human relationships.

Author Lori Collins was blessed to be the human that belonged to an adorable little Yorkshire Terrier named Molly. In I Kissed a Dog and I Liked It, you will see how author Lori Collins learned to appreciate the love of a special little dog and to subsequently see God's love in a whole new light.

A love story about the animals in our lives that become our family. It was especially meaningful to me, having lost my sweet girl right before Christmas this past year. It's cute and quirky and encompasses all of the feelings we have for these special creatures; from the pure and absolute love we feel to the insecurities that maybe we didn't do enough to save them. It's a great read. Bring tissues!!
