What People are Saying About This
This series of children's career books offers a good glimpse into the professional fields of music, computers, animals, and sports. Each book begins with a section that helps children determine how much, and in what ways, they enjoy a particular field. For example, people who enjoy sports like to be active. The occupation section discusses a variety of jobs related to a particular field, pointing out that there can be much more to loving music, for instance, than simply liking to sing: Instrument maker, composer, disc jockey, and sound engineer all fall under the "music" category. I especailly liked the preparing to work section, which details some ways in which children can prepare for a particular career.
