This is a great read, I was trapped on the first page. I also love the cover. This is Chris St. Clair's first book and I certainly hope it is not his last. I easily got into the book and completed it within 2 days. (Only because I had to make a trip!) I did not want to put it down. The characters are real and feel like they are your personal friends. I cried the last half of the book which is a good book to me. Right up there with The Notebook. It would be a great movie, right up there with Steel Magnolia or the Ya Ya's.

I originally picked up this book because it was by an author from where I grew up. When I started reading it, I quickly became enthralled in the story and finished it in one day. It a good, easy read that both young and old can enjoy. The characters are easy to relate to. It was a very inspirational story. I hope that I'm am as good to my friends as Millie's were to her. It is a definite great start for Mr. St. Clair.
