I've never written a review, but I felt I had to with this book. The story had a lot of potential, unfortunately the writing was bad. Just one example, I have no clue what the characters look like, because they are never described. No hair color, eye color, height, nothing. She writes at some point that Daniel is so attractive, but I have no idea how. There's no real conflict, everything just seems to fix itself right away. At one point, she even refers to the same character by two diffetent names. Save your money. The story is disjointed, hanging on by a very small thread.

I was impressed with the writing. Felt like the tone changed about 1/3 through. Nice characters and fun love story though.

Excellent read. Loved the cute scenes with Daniel and Maddy. Not the longest read but emotional and intense in many parts. I was satisfied.

This romance was like a coloring book page before it is colored in--the outline of the picture is charming but it is missing all the hues and vibrancy that really makes it come alive. This writer is very promising and I hope to read books by her in the future that are not missing the detail and the follow through of a full piece. I was disappointed when I reached the end of the story that so little was resolved in terms of conflicts in the story. We do get the start of a nice HEA but then I discovered that there are several books to go in the series on this couple.  I did not find them a compelling enough couple because of the missing pieces nor the nature of this contemporary romance to need several books to follow them. While this isn't quite a serial as there is no cliffhanger, I still wish it had been a complete novel--all in one.  The missing parts--Why doesn't Maddie have any friends outside the disappeared Lisa?  What is the backstory exactly of his previous deal? ... There are tons of these threads.  Sigh.

I had a hard time deciding on the star rating for this. It's slightly above average. It's a tad disjointed in places, dragged in a few places... and there seemed to be more fighting and silence between them then falling in love so I had a hard time buying this sudden we're in love book over ending. And then the random ex appearance was just a waste of time. And no mention of why maddy was so "broken" about marriage. For being 1100 of actual reading there wasn't a lot of get to know you moments or feeling like they were connecting.....

Nice Maddie gets called into the bosses office. She doesn't know what going on. Daniel gets a letter from the INS and has to figure it out. They decide to get married, and he will pay her. Little did they know they would fall in love.

This certainly wasn't an original idea for a book, in fact it's a very common story line. But the author failed to do one extremely important thing: she did not describe the characters AT ALL. You have no mental picture of what the characters look like. This is a huge fail for an author that is supposed to be a top seller at the Kindle store.

This book was sort of rushed. Maybe More details in book two. This is an ok read so I give it a 4 star.

A really good novel. I loved it. Maddy had given up on men and marriage after dating a lot of losers. That is until her boss, Daniel Thorne, makes an offer she can't refuse. Because his lawyer neglected to complete filing his paperwork to become a natural US resident, he is now in danger of losing his visa. The only way of staying is if he marries a US citizen. Hence his proposal of a marriage of convenience. One that would allow her to live in the lap of luxury for a year and receive two million in compensation afterwards and allow him to stay. At first it's all business. But before long she finds herself wishing it were real. This is a good read. I recommend to anyone who enjoys Billionaire romances.
