"This is something my mother would say to me as a child, she'd say 'I see you Mocha Mocha', as I peek at her from around the corner, behind the couch, and I would laugh and join her in a big mom hug. I am fond of those memories, and my mother, so I wrote this book in dedication to her. No matter what grief, life lesson, triumph I am 'peeking out from behind', she still saw me and continues to see me. That inspired the poem, the book, and serves as a reminder of unconditional love."
