About the Author
Damali Allen comes from a family of educators and spent most of her time as a child afterschool observing her mother Rose who is now a retired principal, teach children from all walks of life. Damali later spent five years closely working with children while a volunteer at her son's middle school and was awarded the Imagine Hope Lamond Parent Partnership Award for her tireless participation there. As a caregiver to a number of other children, she noticed that the children who were very successful applied specific principles in order to be successful. She later documented her observations and used them with her own son. After watching the success with her son, she decided to refine the principles and bring them to the world to help other children become successful. Damali resides with her exceptional son, Percy in Washington, DC.
