Myths were supposed to be just that...Myths. But when two twins end up abandoned and left to die. Myths become a reality and these two twins find that out on their eighteenth birthday. Their powers are only surfacing and the danger ahead is unbelievable.... But there are people trying to protect them, as well as gods and goddesses. Iris's surfing dream is put on hold when a fishy situation changes her and her sister into new beings. Where are the twin's parents? What threat is trying to surface? I loved this book. Greek Mythology is my favorite, but I love all mythology. The author gave Lanie some freaky flaws and I found myself slightly disgusted by Lanie's catty spoiledness. I can't wait to read the second book!! This is a book for all ages and there is barely any romance. The romance in this book isn't consuming... It is just a cute little side of the story.
