Gabi and her online friend Katie decide to switch houses for the holidays. Gabi wants to experience everything about Christmas. Joe is the neighbor next door and Katie’s brother. He needs to find out what is going on and where Katie is. The chemistry between these two is hot. With this just being a Christmas switch they really can’t start anything or get to close right? What happens when in only two weeks you fall and fall hard? Will you be left with a broken heart or will you be able to work out how to keep the love and work on the future together? These two are sweet together. Can they find a way to work out there future in the two short weeks or will it have all been a fling? I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

3.5 Stars Reviewed by Francesca and posted at Under The Covers Book Blog I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS is packed full of holiday spirit and cheer. Almost to the point of overflowing. See, this book is set in Twilight, Texas but takes place for the most part at a Christmas tree farm. Our hero, Joe, has moved back temporarily to help his grandfather run the farm after he had a heart attack. Thinking he shouldb be focusing solely on business he runs into trouble in the shape of a beautiful city woman who happens to be living at his sisters’ house. Gabi was looking for a place just like Twilight to spend a perfect Christmas ever since her brother had given her a snowglobe with an image of it. Daughter of high profile lawyers who want her to follow in their footsteps but aren’t much about showing emotions, she has never experienced that magic of Christmas. So she decides to swap houses with a woman she had been chatting with online ever since meeting on Pinterest. Just like the movie Holiday! Twilight is the perfect little small town for my favorite type of holiday reads! There’s snow, a loving and a bit meddling family, and two people thinking they’ll have a holiday fling but end up falling in love. Nothing better to warm he cackles of my heart. This book especially left me feeling full of Christmas spirit. It was sexy when it needed to be and the characters were developed well. Nothing felt too rushed. Even, and this surprises me, the I love yous in the end! I think the author dealt with the fact the hero has ADHD well, she didn’t just throw that in and push it aside but also showed how Joe copes with small things that can make his life easier. The heroine is also going through some growing pains having just dropped out of law school and trying to figure out what really makes her happy and what she wants to do with her life. This was my first Lori Wilde read but I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more of her books now and I’ll be revisiting Twilight to see this small town from a different perspective.

I have enjoyed all of the Twilight books but I have to say this is my absolute favorite. Who wouldn't want to live in a snow globe village at least for a little while? Gabi has had enough of her type of Christmas in California and wants to experience a "perfect" Christmas like the one in the snow globe her brother gave her. She daringly trades homes and experiences with someone she has never met who wants to get away from family and memories for just one Christmas. Add Joe and all of his baggage and there is all kinds of "drama" to shake up all of their worlds. Families can add to holiday drama and they can make it all come together. This book mixes it all into a delicious recipe of fun, heartache and love.

A Great Holiday Read Twilight, Texas It is all merriment and mistletoe as the town of Twilight celebrates Christmas. The townspeople are scrambling to get their holiday shopping done and the Cookie Club is whipping up their most festive sweets. A hometown guy with a restless heart, Joe, is dreaming about the woman he wants to kiss more than anything. While Joe’s sister is away the woman he wants is staying at his sister’s place. Gabi Preston is a runaway law student and Joe isn’t sure if he wants to be a living Christmas present to her. Joe nicknames Gabi “Trouble” as she is a sassy sweetheart. He also thinks he won’t be inconvenienced by anything other than his healthy sex drive. Soon Joe aches to give Gabi everything she has never had when he finds out why she ran away to escape her life. With the magic of the season drawing them together they discover that the only gift worth giving is love. This is another chapter in a series that will have readers cheering that they can revisit Twilight, Texas. The story of Joe and Gabi will be pulling on readers heart strings and will put readers in the mood of the season. This is also a story that readers will want to read over and over. It is fun to watch how much Joe and Gabi change as they find what matters most to them and to see how they work to find their happily ever after. Readers also get the joy of visiting Twilight again and see how the other characters are doing.

Gabi Preston is at a cross roads in her life. She's dropped out of law school and has come to Twilight Texas for the holidays. She wants to fully experience the joys of Christmas. Can she find herself in this small Texas town? Joe Cheek is a Christmas tree farmer and next door neighbor. He is drawn to this beautiful city girl. Their attraction is mutual and sparks fly when they are together. Since he lives next door to her yurt (tent), they see each other often. I loved Gabi. She's such a giving person. She is so compassionate and tender hearted. She wants to make everyone happy, but inside she hurts. She lost her older brother to cancer and her parents to their pain. Joe is a charmer and a flirt, but he's a softie. He always honorable. He makes Gabi feel alive. I hurt for both Gabi and Joe. They have endured so much. They deserve to find love and happiness. The residents of Twilight add so much to Twilight. They are humorous and caring. I felt at home. This book is remarkable and is guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit. Lori Wilde knows how to weave a story that has it all. There is love, laughter, joy and pain. I was hooked from the first page. I'll Be Home For Christmas is a keeper.

A Christmas story that you will not be able to put down. Shows how important family and friends are in the holiday season. I have always loved visiting Twilight and this is no exception. Gabi, a lost soul has come to Twilight for three weeks to have the perfect holiday season. She did not except to find her true love, Joe. Joe is running his grandfather's Christmas tree lot, he welcomes Gabi into his world. Even that is not perfect when his exwife and daughter show up expectantly. Loved all of the traditions of the town! A perfect town in a snow globe. Living out our dream! I highly recommend this book to all Christmas lovers!

I have enjoyed all the Twilight, Texas series, but this one is the best! In one book Lori Wilde creates a Christmas snow globe town of residents full of love for all who need its healing. Gabi Preston is lacking her own identity, having formed her self-image from her duty to others. Joe Cheek, affected by ADHD, returns to his hometown searching for his place in life, his true home. Enter his ex-wife and daughter with their own problems. And the Cheek family is on hand to support all of them.Never have I seen so many emotional issues intermingle in one book, but love triumphs in impressive ways. I loved this story. It was humorous (I had to stop and reread parts out loud), sexy, exasperating, and poignant. Most of all, it was hopeful. It will be on my list to read every Christmas season. This book was gifted to me by the author in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book gives you the true meaning of Christmas and the holiday season. There are no words to tell you how much I loved this book. I will tell you to have some tissues handy because I teared up a few times while reading this. Let me tell you right from the beginning this books just pulls at my heart strings. I absolutely loved the characters in this book. The way this is written you feel part of the community like Gabi who is searching for the Christmas in her snow globe I'd so love to visit Twilight. The magic of the season is so strong in that town. Gabi is such a strong yet has one the most caring hearts. Going to Twilight and meeting Joe is exactly what she needs even though she doesn't know it. This is a make you feel good, warm your heart book. The ending and the epilogue were so beautiful and one of my favorite parts.

I'll Be Home for Christmas, made me go through every emotion possible. I love that about Lori's wonderful books but, especially the Twilight Series. She amazes me each time that she can take you on this amazing journey and leave you wanting more and you just can't wait for her next amazing book to come out. This book brought back so many memories of Christmas while I was growing up, family, friends, love and community and to say I loved this book is an understatement for there are no words that I could write to do this book justice. Do yourself a favor, take a trip to Twilight especially if you've never been. This is the perfect book to get you to fall in love, not only with this author but, the lovely small town of Twilight she created and the wonderful people who live there.
