She's the coach's brilliant daughter, clueless about love. He's the dethroned football star, ready to teach Romance 101. When dark secrets and sparks collide, there's no playbook for what happens next.

The day Andrew Levin arrives at Washington High, Harper O'Malley knows he'll make the perfect starter boyfriend. The school's newest band geek is totally in Harper's league, yet completely out of this late-bloomer's reach. Between fitting in with a new family, scoring the first chair in band, and rescuing dogs for the local animal shelter, Harper's never had the opportunity to hone her dating skills. But even though Harper's love life is far from perfect, she's got the perfect plan.

Harper knows she's insane to agree to tutor Ridley Estes, a notorious heartbreaker and the star of her high school's football team--but in exchange, he's offered to school her in the game of love. Just when she sees promise with her crush, a football scandal rocks her family, her town, and Ridley's entire future. Harper suddenly has everything to lose--her family, friends, and even her heart. When the dust of the scandal settles, nothing will be the same. Including the girl who asked the most popular jock to teach her about love.

Award-winning author Jenny B. Jones returns to YA with a sweet, funny novel about first love and the power of letting go.

I hardly ever write reviews but I have to make an exception for this one. This book has so much character development it makes me cry tears of joy. There's so many beautiful life lessons here, like don't judge a book by its cover and how to cope with past history as well as sound relationship goals and advice. This book really resonated with me because it was something I could relate to. I come from a divorced family with a history of abuse. To see this main character grow so much and how much she cares about others is inspiring. It takes her time to forgive and open up, but she does it. Throughout the whole book stuff keeps happening that's out of her control and when she messes up she acknowledges it, learns from it, and tries to fix it. It opened my eyes to a lot of things and helped me figure out how to deal with some of my own issues. Thank you for such a great journey!

This book was so delightful with amazing character development and a sweet story line. It’s about a young couple who learn how to fall in love in spite of their pasts and the obstacles that life throws at us in the present. Readers who enjoy Katie McGarry will love this book!!

Great book. Don’t take it just from me, read it yourself! A witty and refreshing story about a girl who was adopted into a family. She finally felt secure and protected, but her safe family encountered some problems when her dad cheated on her mom...read the rest of the book to get the while story. It has good, thought-provoking moments, humor, and romance!

An excellent read. Did not want to put it down and hated for it to end. Long time since I have read a book about a 16 year old girl but even though I am an old senior, I could relate to this girl. Loved this book. It's a keeper to reread sometime.

Jenny Jones writes the best books! I love them. My absolute favorite is Save The Date, which I have read several times and plan to read more. Jenny returns to YA with this one and seriously, even though I'm old, it just absolutely delighted me. She creates characters, that from the first mention, seem real to the reader. Then she creates lives for those characters and we feel like we're part of that life. Then there's her wit. Oh my goodness, what wit. I found myself laughing out loud, grinning, even crying during this book. I loved every moment. It was great to read one of Jenny B. Jones's good books again. I highly recommend it.

I'll Be Yours had me hooked from the beginning. This book should be made into a movie, seriously! I could not put this book down, I read it in two days, it was SO GOOD! I am an avid Jenny B. Jones reader, but this was probably one of my favorite books yet (although I say that with every book I read of hers). I loved the unexpected twists in this book and the way it made me laugh out loud. She writes in a way that makes you love the characters so deeply. Awesome book, can't wait for the next one!
