I thought she was going to be with Ramsey. I was into it then. When I found out it was her story with Jasper, I just did not like it as much. The author really makes Ramsey likable, but not so much Jasper. I loved the Kingdom books, I read the royal elite which were good. This series is not my liking. I do not think I would read a follow up with these charactors.

I was given a copy of this book for a true review of the book. Having read The Royals and The Royal Elite series, I was expecting a good read from Ms. Bourdon. She not only gave me a good read, but she provided me a ride on an emotional roller coaster. Finley Carson is a believable protagonist that makes the reader feel like he/she can relate to her struggles and dreams. Finley lives with her best friend, Jasper, who the reader grows to love throughout the book. In order to make some quick money, Finley takes a job as a rich man’s date to a party. Her life is changed from that night on! Fans of Danielle Bourdon will not be disappointed in this read, while it is a different genre, the characters are believable and the plot is well worth the read.

Emotion Roulette Whatever emotion you can think of or feel, this book has it. Weaving of those emotions into varying situations made an awesome story. How the characters handled said feelings/situations was an adventure worth reading over and over. Can't wait until book 2 comes out. ***Great diversity from Ms. Bourdon's beloved Royal series. Allows the author a new genre, audience to reach.
