About the Author

Natalie D. Wilson is a lover of the written word by profession and by heart. Her days are spent encouraging the youngsters, at the elementary school where she serves as a library-media specialist, to become lifelong readers. She and her husband, Will, are Georgia natives and the proud parents of two very precocious and messy rescued parrots. The Immortal Reborn series is Natalie's first foray into the world of authorship, and the development of an idea which first began with a simple piece of music years ago. It is her hope that you will find the world she envisions as captivating as she has, as she developed and imagined the world of the Nephilim.

I absolutely loved it from the first page of the first book! I had no idea it could get better and yet it did. The surprises, suspense, and tension and kept me up reading up so late that I just couldn't keep my eyes open. I watch a great deal of Japanese anime and Marvel shows with my son, but these books had me actually reading during commercials and between shows! I loved both books and can't wait to start the third one!?

The dialogue became very repetive in this book. The gestures each character made towards Alex were all the same. They all brushed her hair back and cupped her cheeks. I'm not going to read the other books in this series.

If the first book wasn't so good, I would have given up half way through this one.  Our strong heroic of the first tale's health fails throughout this second book. and I got tired of reading about her health issues when she she is supposed to be so strong.  Almost the entire book showed her weaknesses (and most of them could have been overcome if she had just made a decision or two).  It conflicts with the personna she portrays.  But I did stay with it (skimming some parts) and hope that book 3 will be better.

I'm afraid this story moved too slowly for me because I made the mistake of reading the review for the next book in the series (#3) before reading this one. I knew how it was going to end. If anyone does the same, it will ruin this book for you. Now I haven't read book #3 yet, so I can't say for sure if I should have simply skipped it. I have a feeling it may prove true.
