Impending Judgment
Throughout history, there have been many nations that have rose to great heights and then slid into the depths of destruction. The reality is the judgment of God upon rebellion is a universal principle that applies to every nation. God is sovereign over every nation and will raise up or destroy them on the basis of obedience or rebellion to His commands (Jer. 18:7-10). While God loves all people and desires to have a relationship with them throughout all eternity, He is also a just God who must punish sin. The only hope for any nation to survive is to live life from God's perspective, love God, love people, and hate evil (Prov. 9:10-11; 8:13; 24:3-4). Solomon's conclusion for happiness and contentment on this side of Heaven is "Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all" (Eccl. 12:13). Ron Alexander is grateful for his salvation in Jesus Christ and for the opportunities God has provided for him to share his faith with many people since his salvation in 1981. Ron attended Luther Rice Seminary and graduated with a Master's Degree in Biblical Studies in 1995. He has been faithful to God's call upon his life to mentor men and teach God's truth wherever God places him to serve on this side of Heaven (Phil. 1:21). Ron has been married to his beautiful wife Kathie for 36 years. They have been faithful to attend and serve local churches wherever God has placed them throughout the years. They are both currently enjoying retirement and spending their leisure time paddle boarding and biking across America.
