Professional development programs for educational leaders, and leaders in general, are more relevant than ever. It is in this background that the proposed intervention, the creation of a transformational leadership orientation manual with a workbook for improving leadership styles through models of transformational leadership, is positioned. This will help leaders in developing strategies for empowering members to improve their performance. It will assist new leaders, faculty, and staff of community colleges, organizations, and departments in the development of transformational leadership skills, which are needed in our changing society. Transformational leadership is critical to meeting the challenges faced by today's leaders.
