About the Author

Lisa Baker has been teaching music and theater for over 13 years. She has always enjoyed writing, starting with her high school creative writing class, which has mostly been a pastime until recently. She graduated from Grand Canyon University, summa cum laude, with her B.S. in Elementary Education with an emphasis in English while working and helping to raise kids. She lives in Southern California with her husband of 25 years. They have two adult children who have enjoyed the family's annual Christmas letter in the form of a poem that Lisa always writes. When she's not traveling with her husband, or teaching her students, Lisa enjoys performing at the local community theaters in her area. You can find out more about Lisa from her website at ReadingRhythmsAndRhymes.com.

Joy Baik is always inspired by the idea of being able to create imagery that could only exist in one's mind. This creative energy and her love for art led her to attend Orange County School of the Arts, from which she graduated class of 2019 in the Visual Arts Conservatory. She received the Director Award for Artistic Merit and Dedication. Joy is currently attending Parsons School of Design to achieve a BFA in Illustration.
