About the Author

Historical romance author Samantha Grace discovered the appeal of a great love story when she was just a young girl, thanks to Disney's Robin Hood. She didn't care that Robin Hood and Maid Marian were cartoon animals. It was her first happily-ever-after experience and she didn't want the warm fuzzies to end. Now Samantha enjoys creating her own happy-endings for characters that spring from her imagination. Publisher's Weekly describes her stories as "fresh and romantic" with subtle humor and charm. Samantha describes romance writing as the best job ever.

Part-time hospice social worker, moonlighting author, and pilates nut, she enjoys a happy and hectic life with her real life hero and two kids in the Midwest. Visit her at: www.samanthagraceauthor.com.

Ah, Sebastian finally has something go right for him! I really liked him in the last book so I was really happy to see him find a lady that was made just for him. It was sweet to see a little of his sister, too. Helena had such a crappy time with her childhood and her first marriage that it was nice to see her take a chance and give in to love with Sebastian. I hope there will be more in this series cause I firmly believe that Ms. Grace can write one heckva romance. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

What an exciting historical romance set in 1819 England. Filled with a bit of humor, that will have you laughing out loud at times, sensuality, romance and of course, love. I loved the way Sebastian and Helena fit well together. Well written with engaging and believable characters. The storyline is intriguing as well as entertaining. A most sought after tale of romance and one in which Regency lovers are sure to delight in reading. A must read! Highly recommended! *Received for an honest review from the publisher* Rating: 4.5 Heat rating: Mild Reviewed by: AprilR, courtesy of My Book Addiction and More

What an interesting read.  Grace had me captivated and guessing throughout.  Societal rules complete with human emotions and a veil of secrecy to create a story that had me hooked.  Grace also takes her readers firmly back to the regency era, with all of the rules and trimmings that go with it.  It was an exciting, and comical trip back in time.   I loved the complexity of the characters in this novel.  They were multidimensional entities who really packed a punch.  I appreciate how they try to live within the bonds that society, and the ton especially, dictate for them while also trying to be true to themselves.  The wide variety of individuals that we meet and actually get to know make you feel like you’re participating in the season with them. As a whole this was a romantic, intricate, and delightful tale that can easily be read as a standalone or as part of the series.   Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

Regency lovers will adore IN BED WITH A ROGUE! I love the Regency period, so IN BED WITH A ROGUE, written by Samantha Grace, was perfect for me! What a charming and fun romance it was, you will love following her two main characters Sebastian Thorne and Helena Prestwick! I haven't read her first book, in her Rival Rogues series, but it was easy to follow the events and her other characters present again, in this one. It's the story of Sebastian, who was jilted at the altar, and everywhere he went, he was the talk of the ton, a scandal for his family. He only wanted the best, especially for his sister Eve, a charming young lady making her Season's debut. Helena, is a young widow, who had been won as a prize, by her late husband, at the age of 16. Being thorn apart, from her family, she will make it her mission to find her sisters...but meanwhile, she will help the poor and needy at Whitechapel. Will she find them? Since, both want, what's best for their family, Sebastian and Helena will strike a deal to help each other. Will love be in the air? It's a wonderful love story filled with romance, humor, mystery and scandals!

I really enjoyed the book.  No there is not a lot of sex but there is a good story line, interesting characters, and romance.

I remember I liked Sebastian very much in the first book in the Rival Rogues series, One Rogue Too Manyby Samantha Grace. In fact, I liked him even more than Anthony, the hero! He seemed like a victim of circumstances and just plain bad luck. Plus, he comes across as much sexier than Anthony. Sebastian is a good and kind man who oozes sexual energy. He agrees to help Helena, Lady Prestwick and a young widow, reunite with her lost sisters if she, a paragon of society, will sponsor his younger and jilted sister, Eve, and help her navigate the tricky and vicious ton society to make a good and proper match. Along the way, however, Helena is witness to Sebastian’s kindnesses, to his sister and mother, as well as to herself. He also can visit places that a proper lady must never enter, such as brothels, in order to follow leads to find her younger sister, Lavinia. Helena is sweet but she’s also a little boring. She has had a very hard life, gambled off by her wastrel gambler of a father at the age of sixteen and, though she was taken care of by a rich husband, Wickie, his generosity did not extend to her poor helpless sisters, who pretty much were left behind to fend for themselves. Helena does have a nice friendship and connection with Wickie’s cousin, Lady Eldridge but, alas, she is a woman and could not do more for Helena. Characters from Grace’s first series make an appearance here. I haven’t read them so you’re not missing any backstory if you haven’t either. This is a rather mild romance. In fact, I think the title is misleading since Helena is not in bed with Sebastian. In fact, she is very, very reluctant to go there—even though she really, really wants to—because she is terrified of what society thinks, of her own meager and tragic past and of Sebastian’s own scandals, of his father’s madness and his own broken engagement. Grace writes with nice pacing, her characters are very likeable, and the story is enough to keep you turning the pages. I would categorize this as a sweet romance even though there is one sex scene. I just didn’t feel a grand sexual tension or heat between Helena and Sebastian. I enjoyed this book much more than the first in the series, largely due to the characterization of the hero. A rather serious love story that explores the themes of scandal and its often tragic side effects.

This is book 2 in the Rival Rogues series. Having been jilted at the altar, Sebastian Thorne is determined to restore his family's reputation. When he finds the widow Lady Helena Prestwick in Whitechapel, he makes a deal with her. He will help her find the person she is looking for if she will befriend his sister and introduce her back into society. Trying to find her sister in the high class brothels is not something Helena can do on her own. When Sebastian offers her deal, she jumps on it. Since she can't get into the brothels, who better to go than a gentleman with a reputation. But can she keep the secret that it is her sister she is looking for? As they spend time together in society, neither of them counted on their attraction to each other. All Helena wants is to return to Scotland with her sisters. She has no plans to marry again, but Sebastian is making her question her decision. I loved this story. I felt so sorry for Sebastian in One Rogue Too Many and was hoping he would find his HEA. Grace did not disappoint. I loved seeing Anthony and Gabby (from ORTM) again and that they helped Helena and Sebastian get to their HEA. Sebastian wants nothing more for his family than acceptance. He will do anything, even marry someone he doesn't love. I was happy to see that Sebastian was finally able to get the acceptance for his sister that he craved after she was left by her betrothed. The added bonus was he found his other half. The chemistry between Helena and Sebastian practically jumped off the page. Well done, Samantha Grace!! I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!
