About the Author

BETHANY CLAIRE is a USA Today bestselling author of swoon-worthy, Scottish romance and time travel novels. Bethany loves to immerse her readers in worlds filled with lush landscapes, hunky Scots, lots of magic, and happy endings.

She has two ornery fur-babies, plays the piano every day, and loves Disney and yoga pants more than any twenty-something really should. She is most creative after a good night’s sleep and the perfect cup of tea. When not writing, Bethany travels as much as she possibly can, and she never leaves home without a good book to keep her company.

Again, the unrealistic way four year old Cooper is portrayed in this short novella really took away alot of my enjoyment at reading Jeffrey and Kathleen's story. I don't know, maybe four year olds like him actually do exist but I kind of just would like to see him act like a four year old, not a grown man. He's a child, he shouldn't have to act like an adult just to identify with them. He's super cute and extremely loyal, qualities I hope never abandon him. Overall this was okay. Can't say I enjoyed this as much as the other books. Jeffrey and Kathleen were a little boring. I think I just missed the Scottish accents..lol. I'm glad Jeffrey found someone though, because he sucked at charming 17th century women! SR
