In Love With Her Boss is a book by American author, Christie Ridgway in the Montana Mavericks series. Lori Hanson has come to Whitehorn for two reasons: to escape her violent ex-husband and to find her half-sister. Temping as a receptionist for builder Josh Anderson throws a spanner into her plans: she doesn’t want a relationship with a man, any man, even if he is as gorgeous, gentle and caring as Josh. But Josh is determined to win her heart, even if he has to be infinitely patient around this very skittish beauty. Lori is a feisty heroine, determined not to be a victim; Josh is a gentle giant. This is a sweet romance that features characters from earlier novels in this series and an ongoing mystery surrounding the Hip Hop Café and its owner. Enjoyable.

Another relaxed read from Christie Ridgway. Good story line and characters...really like the main male character Josh Anderson. Lori Hanson had come to Whitehorn to start over not to fall head over heels in love with her boss! For she knew better than to risk her heart-her life-on another man. Besides, Josh Anderson was to attractive to nice and...too dangerous becasue he made her want to care about him. Josh's alluring receptionist had secrets and fears she couldn't let go of, and all Josh wanted was to hold her in his arms and make everything better. Okay, so that wasn't all he wanted. Lori's presence made it all but impossible to work-except to count the ways to capture her heart!
