When a lone man, whose drinking binge keeps him late at the bar, happens past a cemetery, he meets someone who says he is expecting Death to arrive. The man decides to wait with his new companion to see if the mythical figure actually comes, though he never believes the manifestation will occur. Or will it? Does Death condescend to visit the two men at the darkest hour of night? And will both be be claimed by the sickle? Written in the manner of Edgar Allan Poe, this work is an amazing piece of gothic macabre literature; dark and mysterious, the story is a representation of what one hides in the veils of night. Compelling and intriguing, this story captures the mind and closes with a brilliant ending.
