About the Author
Du Weidong first engaged in editorial work in 1976. He began to write literature in 1979 and joined the Chinese Writers' Association in 1986. His works include essays, reports, and works of fiction. He has been published in "People's Daily," "People's Literature" and many other publications. He won the People's Literature Prize and more than 10 other awards. The author is currently a short stories magazine editor and is on the committee of the Chinese Writers' Association.
