"In The Garden" is a heartwarming story about a young paralyzed woman who goes to the garden each day to spend time with the Lord. One day, she hears the Lord call her to be a missionary, and her heart just sinks. Because this story is written in an era from the past, Laura has two major things against her: she's in a wheelchair, and she's a woman. Travel this journey with Laura and join her when she has to face insurmountable obstacles, tragedy, and loss. Rejoice with her as she holds tight to her faith and ultimately seizes the victory in the end! May you be blessed by this heartwarming story that speaks loudly on the issue of those with Special Needs being able to make a difference in this world, and also the belief that dreams really do come true!

About the Author
Christal is a gifted author who began writing at the age of 11, when "special needs" kept her somewhat isolated from the public, and also with low self esteem. However, once she realized that it was the Lord who had given her these gifts, and that the Lord would see her through the tough times until her dreams became reality, nothing could stop Christal! She spent many hours reading and writing, taking notes and sitting at the computer. She began writing a book, "In The Garden," at the age of twelve, and she interjected a little bit of herself into each character. Today, some 14 years later, "In The Garden" has come to completion. Christal continued to let the words flow from her heart to the paper when she was inspired with poetry, for which she has won many awards.
