Reviewed by Trudi LoPreto for Readers' Favorite In the Hands of Fate by Jacqueline Varlotta is a lovely story of family love, romance and destiny. Demetrius Annapolis is a rich and very sought after bachelor. Melissa Kiffe is a wedding designer and consultant. Demetrius and Melissa were very young and very much in love, but she left Greece and Demetrius behind without an explanation and returned to her home in England. The story jumps ahead eight years and Demetrius receives a letter from Melissa’s recently deceased Aunt Lilliana with some shocking news. When Melissa fled back to England, she was pregnant and had a daughter. Kaaleena was adopted by a loving family and is living happily in California. Demetrius is determined to find his daughter and get to know her.   In the Hands of Fate is a warm and fuzzy story of family love, love lost and love found. In the Hands of Fate is told with a great feeling of joy and sadness. Jacqueline Varlotta is a gifted author who has written a book that was hard to put down. In the Hands of Fate can be a series that has many volumes because I want nothing more than to see what the future holds for each of the characters; Demetrius, Melissa and Kaaleena. In the Hands of Fate and Jacqueline Varlotta have only success in their future. I highly recommend this to all readers who enjoy a good romantic story; it is a must-read.
