This book acts as a showcase for a collaborative art project sponsored by artists Angela Cartwright and Sarah Fishburn. The project explores the theme of "gardens" as a metaphor for peace, beauty, tranquility, reflection, and creativity, while at the same offering readers an inspiring collage workbook that explores the techniques, methods, and the insights of the participating artists. The book includes inspiring garden-related quotes that artists can use in their own work, a blank "garden gate" template, and a gallery of garden-themed imagery that readers can alter and use in their own artwork.

What a lovely book! Filled with inspiration for projects yet to be done, but even more importantly this book is so beautiful to look at that if I do not complete a "garden" of my own I am more than happy to peruse this book over and over again. This book will find a special place in my home for constant viewing pleasure and inspiration....
I bought this as an e-book as I wanted to add a art collage book to my Nook Color library. The text is fine but I also wanted good quality color art examples. The art is SO SMALL you cant see it! Pages with art and text are so small you cant even read the text. This never should have been released as an ebook! Authors & B&N should be ashamed! I asked for a refund as soon as Igot it.
