Bruce R. Gilbert MD, PhD, drew on his long career in medicine for inspiration when writing his new thriller. Gilbert, a graduate of the Weill Cornell School of Medicine, is a Professor of Urology and Director of Male Reproductive and Sexual Medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He is also an adjunct Clinical Professor of Urology and Reproductive Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Gilbert also serves as the Medical Director of New York Cryo a Reproductive Tissue Bank and President of Genecord, an umbilical stem cell bank. He has authored three medical textbooks and over one hundred scientific papers. He lives in New York with his wife Betsy and dog Callie.
