I was intrigued by the idea of this story right from the beginning. Logan and Katie were seeking something from each other as they began the Inmate Pen Pal Program. I enjoyed their letters from the first. They have great chemistry as time goes on and I loved that they were each fulfilling a need in the other. Their lives had been so different, and yet they each had similar experiences in some ways that really help to draw them together as they discovered these things through conversations. I did think that their "relationship" happened very quickly, but I also liked that aspect, because it helped to show how truly lonely Katie was and how much she was seeking something that communicating with Logan obviously gave her. I loved it when they finally met and I found their intimate scenes to be amazingly hot. It was beautiful to watch Logan work to overcome his past beliefs, albeit slowly. By the end, I wanted there to be more to the story as I felt that it concluded rather quickly without allowing them to truly work through their issues, but the epilogue was very fitting and gave me comfort that the story was concluding as I had hoped. I definitely want to read more of Iversen's books in the future.
